A village somewhere in Bohemia in the 19th century: Seven citizens were found mutilated within a very short time. The dignitaries are at a loss. Does it have something to do with the mysterious stranger who recently came to the village? Is he a messenger of the devil?
In any case, he doesn't seem to have come alone: eerie apparitions frighten the inhabitants, and a werewolf is said to be up to mischief in the forests. Is it all just a pipe dream? By no means! For the stranger gathers his messengers around him to raise the dead. It is time for his revenge.
